Sasayaki Matsu Residence Sneak Preview

Rendering and Diagram of Griffin House Staircase, Niseko Japan

Here is a sneak preview of the Schematic Design of Sasayaki Matsu residence in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. In Japanese, Sasayaki Matsu means “Whispering Pine” – a fitting name for this quiet and cozy retreat among the trees in Hokkaido. The clients requested a design with a similar layout and design as that of Hibiki House – hence, the balcony to the right ties the living room to the signature exterior feature of the home.

This view shows the entrance foyer and the staircase leading up to the main living space. The ski room to the right allows access from the garage to remove all of your gear after hitting the slopes.
