Construction is progressing rapidly at the Origami House in Niseko, Hokkaido. The transition from digital model to physical reality is always the most exciting phase of a project, and seeing the complex geometries of this home take shape is no exception.
Currently on site, the insulation has been fully installed, ensuring the home will perform exceptionally well in Niseko extreme winter conditions. The plumbing and electrical systems have been roughed in, laying the groundwork for the home infrastructure.

Crucially, the smart home network has also been roughed in. In our residential projects, we treat technology as an integrated architectural element rather than an afterthought. The smart home systems at Origami House will allow for seamless control of lighting, climate, and security, enhancing the living experience while maintaining the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the interior.
We look forward to sharing more updates as the interior finishes begin to take shape. Follow along at ste-ad.com.
