We are pleased to announce the final exterior rendering of one of our projects, the Origami House, located in Kutchan, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. The Origami House is a unique and bespoke architectural residence that is sure to turn heads. Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami, the house features a series of cascading planes and folds that create a dynamic and visually stunning exterior.

Design

The house is built using a combination of traditional Japanese materials, such as wood and bamboo, and modern materials, such as glass and steel. The result is a unique and dynamic design that is both respectful of its environment and aesthetically contextual.

Features

The Origami House is a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home that boasts a variety of luxurious features. The house has a spacious open-plan living area with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The house also has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a full basement for entertainment and study.

In addition to its luxurious amenities, the Origami House is also designed to be environmentally friendly. The house features a number of sustainable features, such as sun-shade louvers and energy-efficient appliances, among others.

Rendering

Sean

Sean is an Architect registered in New York State, USA, and a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2013. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, he has lived and worked in Kentucky, New York City, and currently Hong Kong. He has previous experience at several international design architecture firms including Studio Libeskind and UNStudio. Sean has a wide range of experience working on high-profile commercial, residential and cultural projects throughout Asia, Europe, and the USA.
